1 يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللّٰهِ : The literal meaning of نقض (Naqdh) is untying the strands of a rope and breaking them. This meaning indicates such a high style that it is as though the covenant with Taâ’lâ is a luminous rope stretching from azal reaches to eternity and twisted with the hikmah, ‘inâyah and will. It manifests in the universe in the form of general order. The rings of the chain of that general order have been sent to all the species and the most important and wondrous tip of it has been extended to mankind. In the human rûh, it has bequeathed the seeds of potentialities and abilities and has yielded fruits from them. Those seeds of potentialities and abilities gave flowers through the juz’ al-ikhtiyârî, which is regulated by the commands of the Sharî'ah, that is, the textual evidences (al-dalâil al-naqliyyah)2 , being watered.
